A SyntaxChecker which verifies that a value follows the LDAP syntax description syntax according to RFC 4512, par 4.2.2:

 SyntaxDescription = LPAREN WSP
    numericoid                 ; object identifier
    [ SP "DESC" SP qdstring ]  ; description
    extensions WSP RPAREN      ; extensions
